Bio

Trisha Olow graduated from San Diego State University in 1989 with a degree in Biology. Her husband and she gave birth to their first child, Zoe in a birth center in Orlando , Florida in 2001. She then changed my career to full-time Mom. Being fascinated by pregnancy and the birthing experience, she became a DONA Certified Doula in 2002, then a Certified Childbirth Educator in 2003.

She furthered her birthing experience by having their son, Evan in 2004. She support the birthing community by teaching childbirth preparation classes at several local hospitals as well as Best Start Birth Center.

She also has served as Director of Teachers for the Childbirth Education Association for several years. Having a safe, peaceful and empowering birth experience can have lasting positive effects on the relationship between mother and child for the rest of their lives.

Her hope is that through her teaching and doula work, she can empower women to find their strength and improve the birth experience: one birth at a time.
