Bio

Carmen Otero is a graduate of San Diego State University and is currently working on her Masters of Public Health, concentrating in Health Promotion. Her bachelors is in Health Education and Child Development

She has worked as a teacher and a researcher on a childhood obesity prevention project. She has also worked as a nutritionist, health advocate, and parent educator, where her clients were disabled and suffered many chronic diseases. Carmen worked with them, trying to improve their health.
